Couple of pocket(ish) rockets, both with 14-42EZs.

The solution on the EM-10 is a nice solution that came with the camera from the former owner. It has a 37-52 mm step-up ring mounted, and a collapsible rubber lens hood. Not shown is a 52mm lens cap that pulls rounds it all off.

The E-PL7 sports a VF-2, that I had from earlier and I have updated the firmware in both body and lens this evening.

In the search for putting together a minimal kit I will be the most happy with. I rotated this in to see if I can be happy with it vs a 50mm f1 for the smaller size/weight.

Hey Bobby, I suspect that our definitions of "minimalist kit" are somewhat at variance ... ;) !

Mine is an E-PM2 + 14-42 EZ + JJC auto-opening lens cap + wrist strap, with or without a VF-4 plug on EVF. The lot weighs ~400 grams. Without the VF-4, just under 360 grams.

It lives in my car. Not so grand that I would be heartbroken if it were stolen.

^^^Nice! So far I have resisted the urge to get an Olympus. I remember looking at them when shopping for my Nikon FE. I'd love to have one but, I don't shoot film any more, not that I ever really did shoot it a lot, so the urge remains that, an urge.
