APS or 35mm? This look right up my alley ...

35mm . It is called Fujifilm DL Super Mini or Tiara (in Japan). It has a killer 28mm lens (4 elements in 4 groups - two elements aspherical) but it has the bad habit of going to sleep very often and reset flash modes (uses flash way too often for my liking). I need to go and scan some of my negatives for samples. Prices are astronomical and not justified in my opinion.

Thanks for that! I own a mju:1 - and I quite like that camera; the Fujifilm is even smaller and sports a more desirable lens ... We'll see; I'm not sure I want another film compact at this point.

Anyhow, somewhat related: This came about during an attempt at a safety shot tonight; you'll find it in the outtakes thread.

"Shooting a classic" ... Yes, there's film in there, but I have trouble getting into the right groove to shoot that way at the moment. But it's getting better ...
