Berning Robot II, Luftwaffen-Eigentum ... World War 2 German airforce gun camera.
The camera body was a G.I. bring-back trophy and given to me for free a few years back. I had it restored by Robot-Kameradienst.de (shortly before they stopped servicing cameras)
The lens I added myself is a 7.5cm f/3.5 Tele-Xenar, also marked "Luftwaffen-Eigentum"

These cameras were installed in the left wing of Focke-Wulf FW-190 and Messerschmit BF-109 fighters and were activated by a solenoid connected to the trigger mechanism.
They were (theoretically) capable of taking 5 photos per second.

After the war Berning offered a service to rebuild these to civilian specifications, replacing the top cover to add the viewfinder and angle finder .

Simmon Brothers Combat Camera, less than 250 made between late 1944 and the end of World War 2.
Used by US Army Signal Photographic Companies, who thought it was good but too heavy for the film size.

Unfortunately it uses the obsolete 2x3 film packs and I haven't found an alternative beyond loading single sheets to try and use it.
