A somewhat carry over from the "Show Red" picture tread, with some elaborations:

Last summer I bought a Olympus TG-6, with some add-ons, as I had a water ingress in my basement and couldnt find the chargers for my M43 gear but needed something for the vacation. The TG-6 didnt last long as I sold it off earlier this year.

Had it for some months for "research" as a EDC camera, but it didnt merge for me, probably due somewhat on me not getting to grips with the menu system.

I was and still am quite intrigued by the possibilities with it, though, with some add-ons one could built a itty-bitty tiny camera system with the TG6 at the core.

I never got around to add the glass bits, a Teleconverter(TC) giving it the reach of, is it right below 200mm, as well as a couple of Wide-angle Converter (WAC) opening up the wide side by quite a bit. There are two of WACs, one for Underwater use and a regular one, plus several aftermarket ones.

In the picture is what I sold off, the LG-1 is a Led/Flash thingy, working as a ring light for Macro shots, then the camera and a regular UV filter for the RN-TO1 shown beside it. The RN-TO1 is for fastening the TC/WAC or as I found out it makes for a screw in filter holder. Dont recall the filter dimensions but it was a bit odd, possibly 40,5mm or something like that.

The Z-TGS is a twist open lens hood, which I thought would come in handy for pocketability reasons. I stopped buying stuff for it before committing any more funds. Am giving it a bit more time, and then I am probably going to buy it again, after forgetting why I sold it off, the first time around.

I recently called this combo a "side show" because almost everything revolves around my Nikon Z system at the moment - but this setup was such a pleasant surprise I think it's worth reporting: I bought the add-on grip for the E-M5 III because I though it'd help with shooting the 12-40mm PRO - it feels a bit front heavy on the E-M5 III. However, it turned out I actually preferred that combo *without* the grip - so I basically feared I had got the grip in vain. However, the 35-100mm f/2.8 is pretty wide at the mount - so the grip feels a little cramped. And lo and behold, with the additional grip, the whole combo feels next to perfect in the hand, light, portable and ideally balance. So, all things considered, I actually got *two* desirable additions - the Panasonic lens and a use for the grip. For the record: Of course, the grip isn't *necessary* - but it does improve the overall experience considerably.

The lens itself is a known quantity - and absolutely recommendable; compact, competent - the way it should be in :mu43: land, and a great match for the E-M5 III.
