Yes I have finally got myself a Fujifilm X10. I have just got home and taken a couple shots of it. The battery is charging and the images are below. I took some sample shots this morning with our demo model so i need to have a look at those at some point soon. I'll do a report when i have played with it for a little while. For the brief time I have spent with it I must say it feels wonderful and performs pretty well so far! A big discount also helped!! (y)

Enjoy Andy! I was a bit dubious after the first day or two, but once I got accustomed to it, its a definite keeper for me. I don't believe in a single camera for everything. But this could be a single camera for a lot of things, certainly for some types of travel.

Have fun and show us the results...

Now its time to accessorize:

The soft release I had sitting around extra. The thumbs up is WAAAAAY too expensive to buy for the X10, but in a fit of stupid, I bought one a while back for the X100, for which its only too expensive, but not waaaaaay too expensive. And it fits perfectly and works the same in the X10. I actually find it more crucial in the X10 because on the X100, your thumb's really in no danger of doing any harm if you just let it rest where it wants to. But on the X10 I initially found myself knocking the aperture around because the controller sits right where my thumb wants to go. With the thumbs up, problem solved and it makes the grip on the camera even more secure than it does with the X100. Again, for the price, it would be a real insane extravagance for the X10, but if you happen to have one already, its a no brainer to use it on whichever of the two cameras you happen to be shooting with at the moment...

So X10 is a keeper indeed? :)

My local shop in Houston just called me telling me they have the PL25 in stock and the X10. Already have the PL25, but not the ... ergh.

Two words: GAS ATTACK :'(

lol for the X10 and PL25mm 1.4 (whenever I get around to ordering a GH2, hopefully soon)

Can't wait to see how you find the X10, I love how stealth and retro it looks :)

Edit:

Ray - :O some lovely softcore camera porn of the little lady showing her behind ;) I really like the silver on black, reminds me of the 'panda' limited edition leica m8 - very cool indeed
