My son and I swapped lenses for today. I got his 50MM Summicron Rigid (circa 1957). He got my Voigltlander 35mm Classic Nokton MC. Here are a couple of shots with the M10-R and the 50. The shot of the silo is with the 24 Elmarit (Circa 1996). So the 24 is not as old as the Summicron.... It qualifies. Please post yours here.

I've been using lenses going back to 1932 on my Leica cameras. From many makers, the first Universal mount.

Leica and Zeiss were the two big names in 35mm systems in the 1930s. Zeiss made lenses in bayonet mount for the Contax camera. The Zeiss lenses were the speed-kings, and I've seen many 1930s Sonnars converted to Leica mount. The Leica was smaller, the Zeiss lenses were better in low-light and gave higher contrast. I've converted about 70 Zeiss Sonnars for Leica.

1934 Carl Zeiss Jena 5cm F1.5, wide-open on the M9.
