Had it with this hospital

Been here since Saturday. Minor heart attack Saturday, another on Sunday, stent placed yesterday, I’m right as rain. They say I’m going home today. They’re right, whether they like it or not.
Sorry to hear about your H/A, but glad to hear you're feeling OK now. :2thumbs:
I had the same procedure 23 years ago and I'm still going strong. :th_salute:
Stock up on baby aspirin!

It took my hospital forever to release me. I even sat out in the hallway waiting to go home! I had had a private room (that's another story!) but they couldn't use it until I was released! And to make matters worse there was massive construction of new buildings and a multi-story parking structure going on which made it difficult for my daughter to pick me up curbside!

Sorry to hear about the heart attack. Glad to hear you're ok. Did they figure out what triggered it? Spending too much time on B&H?

Kidding aside, if you're unhappy with your care, you're not far from Ann Arbor. UofM straightened out my lung cancer and I can't stop recommending them to anyone I run across with serious health issues. They saved my life.

Best wishes and stay off that B&H site for awhile. ;)

Been there done that, quad bypass done and done.
Getting out sure beats the alternative, take your time, enjoy life.
Glad to hear you survived, I enjoy your pictures, a lot.
I'm kind of surprised the blockage wasn't shaken apart by all the exhaust vibrations you've been subjected to while shooting the drags.

Was in St. Joseph. Not dissatisfied with the treatment at all, just the S-L-O-W ass process. They're struggling with staff same as the rest of the world. St. Joe's and U of M are equal in treatment, and only a few miles apart. When we go to the hospital it's a tossup. If one is too busy we go to the other. We are lucky to live within 15 minutes of 2 major world-class hospitals.

End result: ZERO damage to heart. Heart rated 'perfect' in all respects. Valves, wall thickness, pressure, etc. The only problem was the clogged artery.

LESSON: Listen to your body. I did my very best to blow it off as being stiff from sleeping wrong, or just imagining things. Tried to talk myself out of going. I was weeks away from a catastrophic clog that I may not have recovered from.

Really glad your still kicking Brownie. I just spent the day building a ramp for my wife's 79 year old motorcycle riding buddy ,he broke his leg in four places Saturday avoiding a deer and gets out tomorrow and is under the impression he will be riding again by xmas. You guys sound like you will both be around for quite a while longer.(y)
