Leica Heads-up: Unannounced Leica Firmware UPDATES (EDIT)

Out of interest, is there a link for the list of M10 in camera lens profiles? Google wsn't my friend on this one.
I haven't seen one, either - the release notes just stated: "The list of automatically detectable Leica-M lenses was extended." Lazy, that.

EDIT:
Update sizes:
  • M10: 124MB
  • M Typ 262: 4MB
Go figure ... Or don't.

To whom it may concern,

There has been a firmware update for the M10. Nothing crucial, just more lens profiles, but they *can* be handy.

You can get the update via Leica Camera AG (Service and Support).

EDIT:
There have also been other unannounced firmware updates:

  • M Typ 240
  • M Typ 262
  • M-D Typ 262
  • M Monochrom Typ 246

I just looked in the link. I did not see update for the M240 later than 2017....

Yeah, right. Next you will expect me to tell time, too. ;o) Sorry about that.
Not at all - at the time of writing, the firmware updates weren't broadly advertised; they were, later (a lot later), at least to my knowledge. Kudos on finding the firmware on your own - I find untangling the lists Leica keeps tedious at the best of times.

Sorry for being a bit harsh - but I thought something new was happening. As someone who tries to keep on top of things as a moderator, I'm not too keen on old news being pushed up in my feed.

That's why I "unstuck" the thread now - should have probably done that a long time ago.
