A few from Heidelberg. Although the people are lovely I just didn't really feel the love so not many pictures and not taken with much enthusiasm. Probably spoilt by Venice :rolleyes-74:

I’ve been to Heidelberg twice, and I think that is enough.
But there is a little shop by the bus stops that sell French Lavender products! Very popular with my lady friends!

Kyle, you are right, on the day of my second visit it was graduation time, lots of students partying, but no trouble or aggro lots of the students were quite drunk, but well behaved, in its own way quite boring!

Christilou, I definitely know that feeling! When I visit a place it’s obviously a signal for the scaffolding to appear or the streets to be dug up!
It happens at home as well, very annoying. :boohoo:

I visited Heidelberg on a school trip in 1973 IIRC. I dimly remember eating Wiener Schnitzel, and being guided around the castle by a very disreputable looking chap in a tatty black leather jacket. Oh and it rained all the time. Happy days.
