I have been a serious amateur photographer since about 1971. My first serious camera was a Fujica ST701. After taking pictures on hundreds of rolls of film, I wore that one out. Since then, I have moved over to Pentax. I own a MX, ME Super, K110D and just ordered a K-01 with the 40 mm lens. I have a small collection of K mount and screw mount lenses that I have accumulated. The reviews of the K-01 are mixed, so I am excited to get the new camera to see for myself.

I once owned a twin lens 220 roll film camera, how bad can the K-01 be?

I've always felt that 90% of all cameras are better than 90% of the people using them. From what I read, the K-01 produces fantastic images. Most of the complaints seem to be about ergonomics.
