Hi All,

I'm a Digital Compact Camera shooter; Sony H2 & Tx5. Taking pictures is a fun hobby, but enjoy sharing pictures with friends and family is gratifying. I take mostly action pictures but also do night shots and motion blur.

My preference are compact size cameras because I take pictures for fun and not interested in carrying heavy equipment.

Welcome Bernie. We are all in the same boat. Pete and I are just too old to carry big cameras so that's why we're here....

Hello and welcome Bernie - I too subscribe to the 'small is beautiful' school of thought. Can't seem to be happy with just one camera though.

G'day Bernie from Australia. Small is certainly beautiful and I still have an old clunky dSLR next to my Sigma just so I can better appreciate the DP2's form. Hmmm....not to say anything about the IQ! So, love to see some images from your kit and you might be interested in our Weekly Challenges. Not sure if you're out of time (bad pun intended!) for the current one but....there's always next week
