I'll be posting a number of images in the SiJy of the final stages of my bath and Kitchen renovation. Single in June almost might have been too easy actually since it started June 2nd :D. So I should probably post some before images and have a convenient place to post after with other gear.

The kitchen looked OK, but a closer look at the cabinets show they were pretty beat up. And the tile and granite combo in the master? :coco: Also it seems they used the wrong drain flange so the floor had a 2-3 inch dip around the floor drain. :hmmm: Sadly I seem to have deleted the image with the drain. Oh and no edging on tile and the tile had bar codes on the edges, nice.

Brings back some memories. I spent about 5 1/2 years in a series of remodeling projects that began with what was supposed to be a 2-3 week project to replace a leaky front door and frame, and an entry floor. It evolved into many painted rooms, 1,000+ square feet of hardwood floor, refinishing hundreds of feet of baseboard trim, gutting and remodeling a bathroom, and gutting and remodeling the kitchen. I did almost all of the work except some electrical and installing the new cabinets. It was satisfying to see the results of all of the work, but I was so glad when I drove that last nail.

Kitchen and master bath backsplash. Master bath backsplash is also the ascent in the shower. This is our third home (first condo) and the first with a tile backsplash in the kitchen.

That looks nice. The kitchen is probably the most different part comparing to houses in China simply because of the different food we cook. I might have a chance to shoot some photos at my friend's new apartment later this month.
