Homesick

I have a dream to pack my cameras, hockey gear and rest of the less important stuff and move back to my hometown. Not yet possible, but maybe in the future.
This guy’s timelapse video doesn’t really ease my homesick

Nice video. Looked it up on the map, fairly south in Finland, so you still have some daylight in the winter. Many islands nearby, I'd expect those to offer a lot of photo opportunities.

Well, 5 hours 44 minutes between sun rise and set. Seems a bit shortish this time of year

Archipelago outside Turku is really beautiful and unique in the world. Finland is a country of thousands lakes, over 150 000 of these and same number of islands. With the boat and sun shining almost around the clock in midsummer the archipelago closes to paradise. But there’s a snake in the paradise, sea around is one of the most polluted in the world because of agriculture, industrial areas and waste from St. Petersburg Russia and other Eastern Europe countries around the Baltic sea.

The video is stunning... I can see why you'd be getting homesick
