Fuji How does one remove the lens thread? to put a JCC hood on an X100S

I just don't see what you are supposed to unscrew and I don't want to damage the camera.

put the lens cap on, then press down on the cap and turn.....kinda like a a childproof medicine top.

I used the sole of my boat shoe... any flat rubber will do.

I just turned it with my fingers while applying a little inward pressure. It wasn't difficult. I must be a brute.

Lens cap tip worked great. I didn't want to inadvertently damage the lens.
