Ok, I'm a bit frustrated with using the Sweeping panorama. Checked the firmware, it's up-to-date (version 03). According to the manual, and this website, you can pan the NEX vertical in sweeping pano mode. But I can't seem to get this to work. When I switch to sweeping pano mode, there's only 1 arrow pointing right (or left). I tried to get the arrow to point down (or up) so I can do the vertical panning as well, but to no avail.

Does anyone know how I can do this?

By the way, I don't have the "Ultra Wide" image size like they stated on the site, only "standard" and "wide". Does this mean my firmware isn't up-to-date?

Once you set the pano mode you need to go into the 'camera' menu and scroll down. You'll come across the option for panorama direction there.

Ah, yes. Thank you Olli. Wonder why I missed that.
