How's weather at your place?

It's that gust of clouds and wind over the Atlantic ocean heading eastwards over the UK and seemingly no where else in Europe which is in the middle of a heatwave.
Yus. The cold air is coming down from the arctic and it's circling back around the UK like a gigantic cyclon that recycles the cold air and the story clouds. The hot air coming from Africa over Europe is pushing this air against the cold air over UK making it spin and keeping it from making landfall over Europe ... Keeping UK and Ireland cold and wet and keeping most of Europe hot and dry.

This basically reminds me of the changing weather patterns from the start of The Day After Tomorrow movie. Not that I've been taking much notice of weather patterns over Europe for the last 35 years but this is the worst state I ever seen the continent in.

Yep, hideous weather today, for the last 3 weeks and very likely at least the next 2 weeks. It'll dry up just in time for autumn at this rate.

We caught a break in the hot sunny weather in Vancouver. It rained some on Sunday night, rained a lot on Monday and is raining a bit this morning. It's only 14 degrees C right now and we'll have rain showers until midday tomorrow.
This is the first rain since the 3rd week in June. Everyone's glad to see it, especially the forest fire fighters.
Yep. 0.34" in the gauge over the last 24hrs. October weather and glad to get a bit. Now back to normal programing.

And FWIW sun sets before 9pm for the first time in a while tonight.

I'm so glad I went for a sleeveless top hike on Table Mountain yesterday in lovely sunshine; today we're back to drizzle and 14 deg C max

It's getting a bit to warm for my liking in the South West England. Hitting 30 C outside and 24 C indoor, I ended up having to sleep with the fan on. Even Nuggie is struggling with the heat, panting at night and being restless. Avoiding playing is really difficult for her because she doesn't understand how much she can overheat herself by running around.
