I really didn't want to do this because I know it breaks a lot of embedded forum images, especially from Flickr.
However, in light of being recently hacked at SeriousCompacts.com, I've doubled my efforts in making all of the sites as secure as possible, and allowing HTML code in forum posts is just asking for trouble.
So... with regret and apologies to all who this impacts in a negative way (because of certain photos and videos no longer showing in forum threads), I had to disable HTML in the forums. BBCode of course continues to function.
If the only way you know how to post images in forum threads is to use HTML, please see this post for some alternatives.
