The good news here is that Hunting makes for a much better thread title than Eating

Nice pics though! I see them so often that I sometimes take them for granted, but herons are remarkable. I once saw one flying by with a screaming rat in its beak; i guess the rat came too close to the herons nest. It dropped the intrudor off at the next ditch...
