Funny thinking how only earlier today I got very stressed because I couldn't find the lens cap to my Nikkor 35mm F2 D (a replacement would have likely cost about $1 but that's not the point....)

Come to think of it, it should be metal for the price.

The normal cap for Q is metal for sure.

It's a felt-lined push-on cap. For collectors, definitely not advised to actually use this cap as the lining gives in quickly from usage.
