We tend to visit regularly one picturesque museum in Helsinki, Taidehalli or Kunsthalle, with changing exhibitions. It's special for us, because architect designed that building has designed our Villa we are living in.
This time there was retrospective of Finnish iconic designer: Kaija Aarikka (1929-2014), to memorize her 60 years long design career. She was originated from the neighborhoods my mother is from. Some pictures from there, so bear with me. For my generation her design items resemble us Christmas because wast amount of Christmas decorations. Also jewelry was her bravura, and textiles and tableware and, you get the point 🤓
