It took me a while to get used to the idea of taking a weathersealed camera out in the rain but now it's great to have that extra confidence that it's built to survive those conditions.

Indeed. I've had the E-M5 covered in both rain and snow.
the weather sealing is great. But it's not protected against you slipping on the ice and falling on your camera. Be careful out there.
You got that right. Our road has been a sheet of ice at times. Right now it is semi-frozen slush, but temps are going to drop into the low 10s (F). Don't look forward to tomorrow's commute.
Just remember, weather sealed don't not mean water proof. ;)
Olympus calls it "splash proof", but I've gotten the camera pretty wet. Not that I'd submerse the E-M5, of course.
