Covered some amateur mixed martial arts event at the Arnold Sports Festival 2020.
This was probably some of the worst lighting I've ever shot in. Just a few can lights strung across the top of the ceiling and the house lights basically non-existent.
I tried shooting at ISO3200, but I could not get a sufficient shutter speed, even at f/2.8. D500 had no issues auto focusing, but I was a little worried about the Z6. I had upgrades the firmware to 3.0, but did not have a chance to test it out as thoroughly as I would have liked. Happily, the Z6 did very well both in auto focus and handling the high ISO of 6400 and 12,800.
I decided to convert the images to monochrome. I used the DxO Filmpack5 software and the Kodak T-Max 3200 film simulation.
Please enjoy!
