Inspired by 18-year old Finnish photographer

I've been thinking to learn to do time-lapse movies for a while. Now I don't feel very enthusiast to start the learning curve, anymore. Let me introduce to you (very) young Finnish photographer who inspired me a lot, but also on the same time pushed me back from the time-lapse videos, at least for some time more.

Riku Karjalainen have been working on time-lapse and at least for me, it looks awesome. And when remembering his age, almost overwhelming. But anyway, here is the sample and more is found on Vimeo: Riku Karjalainen

Nicely done.

Never done any myself. Looks like he might have been using a drone.

Well, at least in Vimeo page he says about the equipment used:
"Equipment:
Canon 600D (From the very beginning of my time in photography, until this project. In memoriam 2012-2015)
Canon 700D
Sony A7S
Samyang 14mm, Samyang 24mm, Canon 15-85mm, Canon 24-105mm, Canon 100-400mm & Tokina 11-16mm
DIY slider with Emotimo TB3"

I don't recognize drone here, at least not mentioned.
