Instant lens protector

My OMD EM5 travels in a small LL Bean shoulder bag. Since I acquired the Travel Lens Kit with 14-140 and 17 f/1.8, I don't want metal-to-metal contact between the camera and the spare lenses.

I asked my better half if she had a cloth or leather pouch. "How about wrapping the lens in a soft cloth?" she said, addiing: "Better yet, how about a sock?"

Note to self: Thank God for smart, creative wife.

What a great idea. I sometimes want to carry my Pentax and just one extra lens without having to cart an entire bag just for that... and I rarely wear sox anymore. They could easily be lens holders. Don't think I'd cut, though, probably just pull them thru from the heel so there would be a double layer.
