Nice composition - love how the lines lead you to the centre. The black and white conversion works really well too, I like how the thicker lines are darker and help emphasize the composition - well done
I hope peeling bark counts. These are from a stand of paperbarks in a suburb quite near the beach. The trees are old, and huge. Shot with Pentax K-x + DA35mm Macro Ltd
I love taking a close look at the textures of trees. These were all snapped in Kings Canyon National park within a 30 foot radius with my EPL1 and Pany 20mm.
