Apple IOS Photography App: Pixelmator Photo

Wow. Such an improvement over the basic Pixelmator which I almost never used. Tried it out the other day when Snapseed began misbehaving (started with iOS12.x) and am very pleased with it. You can’t access as an extension but it doesn’t matter, because it will present you with thumbnails of all your photos to choose from for editing. There are a few presets, but the editing tools are great. Also has RAW support.

This does look really good. I rarely do serious editing with an iPad. Mostly use the MacBook Pro with Luminar3 or even in Photos. But I think I will try this one.

I've been starting to use Pixelmator on my ipad lately and I'm quite liking it so far!

Really prefer it over Luminar or Affinity Photo for straightforward RAW conversions...

here's three photos from today's walk - taken with a Pana ZS50 point and shoot and converted with Pixelmator... (I went for more muted colors and flatter contrast and it was easy enough to achieve )
