Fuji IR Filter

I just received an IR filter (Hoya R72).

But I have some trouble with it.
There is always a white or more clear circle just in the middle of the picture.
I searched a little bit in the web.
In Dp-review, someone had the same problem and somebody advised to use the hood.
I tried that and even exented it with a black paper, without improvement.

I just received Rico's "Beyond the manual", but there is little about IR picture.

Any advise?

Can you test on another camera? Maybe hold it off center manually to determine if the filter is defective?

Typical IR hotspot.
Stop down less or remove it in photoshop.

Interferences between the internal filter that blocks IR and the Hoya filter that keeps the infrared and remove all below 720nm?
