Hello. For the last few days I've been having major issues trying to post on the website suing Microsoft Edge on Android:

The top bar with the editing options are all grayed out and unaccessible.
I can only add images by via Attachments.
At a certain point in writing the active line is bellow the box of the post and I can't see what I am writing and every time I catch up at the end the line drops again bellow where I can see what I'm typing.
This started a few days ago out of the blue. I didn't do any app updates or Android updates so I'm not sure what's going on.

The only way to fix some of the issues is force close the app and restart the phone but half of the problems are still there.

I will try to update whatever I can to see if it helps.

I didn't even know there was a version of Edge for Android.

Sounds like you may be in "BB Code" mode. You can switch the editor from its normal GUI mode to BB Code mode for manually entering BB Codes to do formatting. When in BB Code mode most of the editor buttons are disabled because they only work in GUI mode.

Try tapping the [] icon to switch between BB Code and GUI modes, that should switch you back to GUI mode.

Thanks. It did unlock the GUI, will have to test the other issues through I do hope they are all related just to that.
Yes, Edge is Chromium based browser so it's pretty much universal to any other platforms as well, as well as Google Chrome is. Very major company is trying to offer multiplatform browsers with sync and linking to each other. I use Edge because it used to be better then Chrome (though it's slowly getting as bad because of bloated, unwanted and unneeded "features" that just slows it down. Firefox still has bit incompatibility problems that I can't use it as a daily driver (I tried) and Opera is in the same situation.

Sorry I am here and back again ... At this point I'm almost ready to give up on Microsoft Edge and go back to Google Chrome (may my RAM rest in pieces):
*I have been having multiplication and overlapping of all the visual elements of any of the threads and website locations only on Cameraderie:

For almost a month now. I don't know if it's an Microsoft Edge update that broke it or something else but the issue is only on my Pixel 7 Pro (no issues on Mac OS Safari or Microsoft Edge in Windows 11). Force restart of the app and phone reboot has no effect on the problem. At first I thought it might be the integrated web app when you pin a website as an app on the phone but I started using the dedicated Edge app and I still got the issue: the above screen shot was from a minute ago.

Then I got this out of the blue yesterday in the Edge app as well. I don't know what's going on but Microsoft Edge is turning out to be worse the Mozilla Firefox on bugginess and I don't want to swap browsers again but I don't know what else to do.

You could give Brave a try. It's another Chromium based browser but it is excellent for blocking ads and trackers. I've been using it as my main browser on my Android devices for about a year with no major issues. Occasionaly it throws a small wobbler and needs to be restarted but apart from that it seems very reliable.

Might give it a try, compatibility issue is a problem for me because my rent company website and my employer payment logging only seems to work with Edge and Chrome and was one of the reason why I had to move away from Firefox last year.
