I actually thought the Nikon F6 was discontinued a few years ago but it appears it happened a few months back.
17 Years is a pretty good run for a camera. I didn't realise it was originally released in 2004 - that seems like yesterday!
Edit - looks like this was mentioned back in Nov - Nikon - F6 R.I.P.
I was also pretty surprised to learn Nikon are no longer going to make cameras domestically - just lenses.
