Nice one Lee. I remember having our Swimming Sports Day at the Jubilee Pool a good 40 years ago, the water is pumped in from the bay and was always cold!

Yes I bet Kiato some lovely photos of it in the 1930 s

It was originally opened in 1935 but fell into a dilapidated state by the early '90s. After restoration and restructural works it was reopened in 1994. In early 2014 the pool was badly damaged by the winter storms. £3m was raised to repair the pool, and it looks great. Might even take my family week after next.
