Fuji Jupiter-9 "Russian Sonnar" 85mm f2

From Photo.net:

"It is a Sonnar design, based on the Zeiss Jena 85mm Sonnar made for the Zeiss Ikon Contax pre-war, made by the Russians after they took the entire factory, including the staff, to the Ukraine as war reparation."

My particular lens is the rarer silver version with "pre-set" aperture.. allows you to focus wide open then turn the aperture dial to desired f-stop. You just have to kinda think backwards.. like backing up a trailer.

Great focal length for Fuji's APS-C sensor (127mm) in FF.

One more "Thanks", Bob!
Would you say the M42 mount lenses are better than the Leica screw mount lenses?
Zoltan

I prefer M42 lenses because some M39 screwmount lenses were actually for SLR's with a different flange distance.

Also- I don't like to have so many different adapters in my bag.
