Interesting shot. She is the first thing your eye goes to despite being out of focus. I like the way it came out.

From many (many) years ago, after a day of running a Hummer H2 through the Jersey Pine Barrens the resulting grime on the passenger side window gave an out of focus view of the world that made me think of a painting.

I had a bit of trouble with back focus today. I was trying to get the predator, but got the prey and leaf instead. I had the same thing happen with a flower image.

It can be really quite difficult to focus the little 7Artisans 35mm f/1.2 - so, sometimes, when recomposing, you lose the focus plane.

In this case, I still love the resulting image (I'm not sure I like the banding issues, though - but I'm keeping it up in a slightly more refined edit than the first).
