Every year my job arranges a kayak trip in the sea, and camping two nights, friday evening to sunday. Open for all, but the space is limited to 10 people, there use to be like 6-8 people that does it. Usually located at the west coast in Sweden, Bohuslän or Gothenburg archipelago. Most of the islands allow camping. So we begin with paddling somewhere on the friday. Put up the tents, then make a campfire, barbequing some hot dogs and have some beers. Next day filled with paddling, and usually a sauna by the sea. We had it this year, awesome! Then finding some nice island to camp, same procedure. Sunday is usually only to settle down, relax, paddling to some island and eat lunch. Then heading back.
This time we started from Marstrand. About 30 km paddling all days (this is mostly a social thing). We had so fantastic weather this time, calm and sunny. So we went in outer rims of the archipelago to an island called Åstol, they have a very nice harbour where you can stroll around, enjoy the view, looking at boats and have some ice cream. I must say this year there was so photogenic weather 🙂 almost every time you picked up your camera to grab a shot it was fantastic 🙂 but I have selected the ten best here:
