Micro 4/3 Koblenz sculpture

This sculpture is in a Koblenz at the confluence of the Rhine & Mosel. I have no idea what it represents!

I have since posting found out that the sculpture represents an engines piston rings invented by John Ramsbottom in 1854, they are art pieces by Bernar Venet

I apologise to everyone as I was tricked into believing that the sculpture represented piston rings, it doesn’t. Mea culpa.

They are art pieces by this chap Bernar Venet

Just checked him out. Did a lot of "broken piston rings".

I've just noticed a Wood Pigeon perched on the sculpture!

Your image reminded me of a similarly shaped sculpture in my town. Not piston rings, appears to have 2 'dancing figures' in it. I will have to go back and look for the artist's name and title.
