Beautiful when flowering, messy as all get out. I had one at a previous house, and it clogged my gutters 3-4x a year with all the stuff it drops. Every year I vowed to cut it down, and then spring came and it redeemed itself.

I have one. It flowers once or twice a year and looks beautiful.............for about a week.

Here where I live, they often flower too early and get frosted out. They flower, look great, then get turned to mush. One year at the old house, we got a really late freeze and it knocked the entire tree back 3 feet. That was an extra messy year!

I've been looking for a 50mm for some time now. Once I have done this I will most likely sell on my Sony A7IV and 50mm 1.2.
