Ha, yes, I suppose I am. The S5 does deliver very nice results, but I’m pretty sure I could get within a gnat’s hair of these using my EM1.3. Shadow noise is better, and there’s definitely more room for pushing things around in LR, but the difference really is not that easy to notice.Getting deeper and deeper!
As we discussed at the other forum there are circumstances where it's worth its weight in gold, and other times when it doesn't make any difference. I loved my G9 and the lenses, but I love my Sonys too. I don't regret making the switch in the least. My wallet regrets it, but I just keep telling it to stop whining.Ha, yes, I suppose I am. It does give fantastic subject isolation Christilou! The "rendering" and colours are beautiful (but of course, most of that is your magic sauce processing!).
All very well when you're the grandparent, but I remember making the mistake of buying those for the kids for use in our house 24/7. Believe me, they never get bored of using them.
