I go much more for "the brighter side" - though both sets are a wonderful slice of Carneval life!

Thanks, BB. Personally I tend more to the B&W series, those faces just imposed themselves on me. If I hadn't shot them that day I could as well give up photography altogether or end up shooting shoppers in the back from a 100ft distance and call it street photography. At the end I'm pretty grateful about what I brought home that day and I'm sure I come back to some of the B&W images here and there while color never really rocked my boat ... chacun a son goût.

Now that I've gone back and taken another look, I do see exactly what you mean Ken regarding those faces in black and white. Powerful in a different way...perhaps in a more serious way?

I like both sets very much.
