Taken with my X-E1. This is my new favourite lens on this body - small, compact, fast handling and with a 60mm effective focal length this is a good available light lens.

A fantastic combi. My favorite is the first crop (#2).

Question: how do you manage to focus so quickly manually?

Thanks for sharing, Peter

Thank you both.

Peter, in answer to your question, I prefocus by feel using the tab on the lens. On the Summicron this puts me at 5' before I start; it's an old habit. Before I then raise the camera to my eye I have pressed the thumbwheel, giving me a magnified view. I may squeeze off a shot in that view if time is of the essence, but usually I press the wheel again, recompose and shoot. I don't find it takes long. I tend to shoot using AE and spotmetering.
