Acquired the lens for 200 euros, glass is very good and only the metal outerior has some marks to it.
What a solid lens! The focus is stiff but for a 90mm it's understandable I guess. Found it very easy to operate and follow subjects with. The rangefinder coupling stops agreeing after 100 meters or so; measured via Google Maps, a building from 100 meters (plus height difference, throw in extra 20 meters) is well coupled but when I focused to a clock tower in 360 meters, the rangefinder visibly showed double lines. The pictures turned as sharp with both cases at f/5.6 so I won't worry about the discrepancy.
From a quick shoot-out I'd have to say that the rangefinder calibration is in 100% sync, outside the infinity case. A quick focus test on a sign about 75 meters away with both RF and live view gave similar results, with RF being sharper actually.
This lens produces a different color cast from 35 Summicron, making reds slightly more magenta. I'm not a 90 shooter, whatever use I have for a tele lens limit to landscape use (where I prefer 70-75mm over 90 easily) and this lens supposedly doesn't shine at far away distances. But it wasn't too expensive so I went for it. Can always sell it if I don't like it.
The lens has more DOF than expected (shot at f/4 - f/5.6) so I could be pretty sloppy about my shooting and still get good results.
Some of the shots cropped to better showcase the sharpness.
