Leica Leica M Monochrom and Nikkor-H 5cm F2

Brian

Product of the Fifties
This is the "I don't get no respect" little brother to the Nikkor-SC 5cm F1.4. This is a very late "Black Aperture scale" version, early 1960s, in Leica mount. All of these are good, I find no difference between this and my 1948 Collapsible Nikkor 5cm F2 as far as image quality goes.

These are at the Manassas Battlefield Park, all using a Red 25 filter. Part of a "Photographer challenge" to use the camera without using the LCD for review. My equivalent, 2 rolls of 36 for the day.

Thankyou all for the kind words, this is a great Memorial Park- and if you get to Northern Virginia- worth the visit.

I've hear the "He Stood There Like a Stone Wall", but until seeing the statue of Stonewall Jackson in between to lines of Cannons, never appreciated it.
