Ticket says it will be serviced on January 9. I doubt it will take them long once it gets to the technician.

No problems with mine YET. Will probably get it to Leica next winter unless I start seeing a real problem.

Mine has always been flawless, I've had the sensor professionally cleaned twice (not by Leica) and finally sent it in as the warranty was nearing its end.
I'm very excited to get it back. Since I usually shoot at 50mm, I've decided to challenge myself to spending a month with only a 35mm lens on whatever camera I happen to be using at the time. I'm only waiting for the return of my MM to start.

From what I understand Leica will fix the problem of the sensor whether the camera is in warranty or not.
