Leica Leica M9 sensor repair

I'm looking for a replacement glass for my M9 but unsure about the right type and dimensions. Reading through this thread i was thinking getting the BG40 as it's closest to the original S8612. Would prefer the BG55 but it seems to require a firmware change.

Now for the dimensions, the original glass seems to be 33.1*43.6*0.8mm. However default thickness is 1mm for Schott, some Aliexpress glasses have 0.9mm but as I understand it's important to keep the 0.8mm to retain focus behaviour.

Can some confirm above dimensions are correct?

Well that sounds tricky, so do keep us updated. To be honest I don't, for various reasons, want to go above M9 so it'll be interesting to see how you get on.
