Leica Leica Surprise Coming?

I've decided not to buy one because of their terrible spelling. It would an insult to my bank account. I'll get one of the new Hasselblad CSC cameras instead

the "me" has a 18mp ccd sensor, no live view with that
the "m" has 24 mp cmos, live with there

nm/.. u deleted yer post.. lol

24MP cmos sensor. Likely from Sony. Maybe the same the little RX1 has.

And the D600. And the A99. Each manufacturer probably do some "tweaking" (AA filter, on-chip NR, and the like), but IQ should be pretty similar between all those cams.

EDIT: Just saw Pelao's posts...well, who knows, we'll see.

The geek in me just had to find out about CMOSIS. Here's their site

CMOSIS - Image Sensors - CMOSIS

This leads me to think that it is a custom sensor, which would fit Leica's style, and of course would be expensive. But I suppose it doesn't preclude it being a tweaked Sony sensor.

So what will this thing cost? At what price would you buy one? Would any self-respecting rangefinder photographer be caught dead with an "M" with an EVF attached (or worse, held out at arms length)?
