Hi All,

I'm heading to norfolk, VA for a family event being held on the USS Wisconsin. (A big battleship). Being a military event, we might be sitting under the big turrets:) I'm bringing my "kit". The 14mm, the 18-55 and the 55-200. I figure to capture some aspects of the ship, the 14mm might be best to start off with especially being up close? What are your thoughts?

I'm bringing the 55-200 just in case (for distance shots or if we can do a boat tour of the harbor) but I don't think I'll bring it to the ceremony..

Regards,
Jeff

It will also depend on what shots you want to take and what lenses are currently in your stable.

The 18-55 will cover most of your shots, the 55-200 will cover distance shots. If you have something wide (wider than a 35) the 14, 16, 18, 10-24, etc.. a wide angle pov of the ship and turret make for an interesting shot.
