The heaviest snow for some years has fallen overnight. Not mega by US/Canada standards but quite a sight for English eyes (not Scottish, they’re more used to it!)
That's a very good snow. Enough to make the world all white but not enough to overly complicate your life. We got unusual snow storms pretty far south the last few days. Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and other parts of south Texas got a very rare snowfall. Lots of videos online of dogs seeing snow for the first time. This is how doggos reacted to seeing snow for the first time in Corpus Christi
Well, the snow may look very pretty, but the weight of it has snapped a great many of the large shrubs in our garden. I fear a lot of them won't recover. I saw lots of snapped branches around the village this morning.
