I think nearly every lightpainting photo I do, I set it to 30 seconds, as that's my samsungs maximum. I've seen others shots with 6,8 or 12 secs, and they are very effective, especially with the sparks. Thats not me in the jetpack, thats my rock climbing mate, abseiling down and spinning. Very drunk. At about midnight.

I'm spinning the chain of circles underneath him :biggrin:

I've now discovered someone who is taking this Light Painting thing to a whole new level, for me. This french guy on Flickr is creating these gorgeous (and sometimes creepy) scenes that are by turns haunting and beautiful. This is the best thing I've found on Flickr in a long, long time. He doesn't just do one trick, either.
