Feedback Links to sister sites

"cameraderie.org" and "home" both appear in the main bar, and both seem to have the same action. Are these redundant?

A new member would be more inclined to explore the Sister sites if they were visible in the main bar. Someone not familiar with the main bar will probably not find the Sister sites from this one.

I agrer. I don't use the sister sites myself, but I can see that they are now hard to find - or even understand that they are sites in their own right and worthy of exploration.

Do you think the bottom of the right column sidebar would be a better place for the links?

I think that would be more visible, yes. I know real-estate can be an issue but I think they need to be visible to encourage "crossover" traffic; people are basically lazy ;)

Thanks a lot for uncluttering the menu!

At the moment, though, the "Alerts" indicater is so squashed up against the upper edge of the active window as to be mostly unreadable ... I like the new slim top bar, but the indicator is something I use a lot.

This is a problem when using Chrome, regardless of the OS it runs on (I've tried Chrome OS, GNU/Linux and Windows).

Will do - it's too late for it now ;) It's a bit better on the big screen I'm using right now - I think the field is about two to four pixels out of the frame on the top. The big screen has 4K resolution, it's quite okay using that; on a 1920x1080 screen, the number isn't really readable. I'll send a screenshot next time I'm on the Chromebook(s).

Thanks, Matt. I've viewed it on quite a few screen resolutions and haven't seen it yet, but I'm sure it can be sorted.

It's actually not as big a problem as I thought. It's just that on the 14" Chromebook, the upper portion of the red background gets pushed completely out of the frame - judging from the lower part, it's about three pixels in width, maybe four. The number *is* indeed readable, but on this screen, it appears tiny. It's no big deal, and most people wouldn't bother anyway. I have just found out how to make screenshots with the Chromebook, so I'll take one next time the opportunity presents itself.

I see what you mean. Will see what I can do for a fix. Thanks!
Solved! :) Even though the site might not appear quite as elegant at first sight, I think the top bar actually is easier on the eyes now as well (i.e. visibility and readability are improved), and it scrolls beautifully anyway (if that feature's enabled).

I use Firefox. When I am at Cameraderie home and scroll to the bottom of the page, I don't see any links to M43, etc., but I do see the links at the bottom of the page when I am at M43 home.

Cheers, Jock
