Some of Nikki's first words... were interesting. Of course I had bought her Barney's Book of Aircraft Recognition when she was very young. Girls have to know the difference between a Triplane and a Biplane. And Phaser-Packing Barbie, with side-kick TriCorder Carrying Ken.

My husband tried in vain, buying train sets and even getting out his vintage Action Man toys to entice them, didn't work...... having 3 daughters he was never going to win!
