Fuji LMO for RAW files?

I'm wondering if Fuji might release (or if there is a way to "reverse engineer" the Lens Modulation Optimizer profiles for the various X mount lenses, so that photographers who want to shoot in RAW can benefit from the LMO capabilities that are built in for JPEG files?

No major RAW converter software maker has expressed interest in upgrading their software to support LMO data.

I also asked Brian from Iridient about it, and he wasn't able to locate any LMO data in the RAWs. Which is strange, as the data must be stored somewhere in the RAW file. How else could the internal RAW converter use it?

Wouldn't it be possible for the LMO profile data to be stored in the camera and not the RAW files? The internal processor could then use a combination of the RAW metadata and the internally camera stored LMO data to generate the JPG files. Just a thought.

Cheers!

Unlikely, this would require a camera firmware update with every new lens. LMO data is stored in the lens firmware, though.
