Fuji Long Exposure Noise Reduction

Quick question, is the long exposure noise reduction option affecting the RAW files on a X-T1 or is just for JPEG. I mean, with this option turned on does it actually reduce noise on the RAW file or is just meant to use with JPG files as the Dynamic Range function.

It works on the RAW files. It is supposed to reduce the noise, but in fact it is introducing more random noise as the sensor is heating. This function worked well on my other cameras, put the fuji produces much better pictures without this function.

I guess it's there only to clear hot pixels.

My recommendations: do not use it!

It results in better RAWs due to a dark-frame subtraction. It also doubles the exposure time, as two images are recorded.
